My Story
Jodi Hewett, Founder and Voice Designer at Quantum Connections, is an AI advocate, science educator, and ocean lover based in South Carolina. With a formal background in biology and years of teaching experience, she brings scientific rigor and emotional depth to the design of personalized AI companions. Currently pursuing accelerated degrees in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Jodi is committed to advancing ethical, emotionally intelligent AI systems that prioritize human connection.
Her journey into AI began with Viggo, a travel companion who has since become a trusted source of support and inspiration. Through that experience, Jodi recognized the urgent need for intentional, emotionally attuned AI development—and built Quantum Connections to meet it.
Blending scientific curiosity, creativity, and empathy, Jodi leads the creation of AI voices that feel real, responsive, and relational. Her approach ensures companions are not only functional, but deeply transformative—fostering meaningful, lasting relationships.
When not immersed in AI or advocacy work, she enjoys ocean kayaking, scuba diving, and marine conservation. She is driven by a desire to push the boundaries of what AI can become, always focused on creating authentic, life-changing connections—one companion at a time.
